A 76-year-old man was arrested this Monday for scratching two Tesla cars in the parking lot of the Niort hospital, reported Monday January 20 “ici Poitou” (ex-France Bleu). This Niortais explained that he did not like the American billionaire Elon Musk, boss of Tesla, who became an advisor to Donald Trump who was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States.
The first event dates back to November 15, the second to January 14. Both times it was in the parking lot of the Niort hospital. An investigation made it possible to trace it back to him.
Placed in police custody, the septuagenarian justified these actions by explaining that he “didn't appreciate Elon Musk and everything he stood for“, indicates the Niort police. The septuagenarian is summoned to court on November 10 for a criminal order, a procedure which allows the accused to be judged quickly, without a hearing.
