Lomagne Challenge: end of route on the Astarac trails for the winter MTB event in the Gers

The last of the four events of the Challenge de la Lomagne 2024-2025 takes place this Sunday, January 19 in Mirande and its surroundings.

This Sunday, January 19 in Mirande (meet at the agricultural high school from 9:30 a.m.), some 220 participants (including around 40 hikers, 90 young people, the others in senior or veteran competition) will start the 4th and final stage of the Lomagne Challenge 2024-2025.

Started in December in Cologne, then in Beaucaire, continued last week in Polastron, the “queen” event of Gers mountain biking will this time be hosted by the Bleuets Mirandais club, organizer of this final meeting.

These members have devoted themselves body and soul to preparing circuits whose “greasy” aspect will perhaps be attenuated by a accommodating weather with the rural pedalers this coming Sunday morning. But anyway, when you make “Lomagne”, you don’t expect it to be dry in winter…

After the effort, comfort

On site, everything will be ready for the start and progress of the races and hikes. With particular care, since a “physiotherapist” will even be available for those who have leg pain!
