Nestlé France has had a new president since January 1, in the person of Sophie Dubois. She previously managed the activities of Nestlé Waters in France, which includes the Perrier, Vittel, Contrex and Hépar brands, for which the company admitted having used prohibited practices.
Ms. Dubois has “more than 30 years of experience within the group” and “held several key positions at Purina before assuming the role of general manager for France and Belgium,” according to the press release of which AWP has read Monday.

Last year, the group’s bottled waters were also the subject of revelations by the French press. Nestlé Waters has admitted to using banned ultraviolet disinfection systems and activated carbon filters to maintain the “food safety” of its Perrier, Vittel, Hépar and Contrex waters.
The then president of Nestlé France, Muriel Lienau, assured AFP in the spring that she had “intensified surveillance” of her French drilling “under the control of the authorities” to guarantee the health quality of her products.
Since the beginning of 2025, Ms. Lienau has taken charge of the commercial entity now distinct from the Vevey giant’s high-end waters and drinks, as “Head of Nestlé Waters Europe”. In particular, it must “evaluate the strategy for this activity”, Nestlé announced in November.
