After the departure of Pablo Rodrigues and an interim period provided by Nicolas Noal, the new director of the Rural Family House (MFR) in Pointel (Orne) is named Sébastien Simon. In different management positions in MFR since 18 anshe has been making his mark since December 16, 2024, the date of his arrival. Originally from Upper Normandy, he discovered apprentices dedicated to their profession. According to him, transmitting passion is the key.

By taking the position, Sébastien Simon’s first objective was to create a network locally, understand the environment and the functioning of this establishment.

For this, he will base himself on his experience: “I have already experienced the forest sector when I was at the head of the MFR of La Ferté-Bernard. » This is his fifth position as director, having just handed over to Plabennec-Ploudaniel, in Brittany.

In Pointel, there is 200 learners and around thirty employees.

This MFR is recognized and has a national dimension.

Thus, by meeting the staff who “welcomed” him and the “passionate” apprentices, he was able to discover a work environment interesting.

Develop the structure

Holder of a master management and organizations, he always wanted to be an entrepreneur. He joined the MFR galaxy 22 years ago, in the human resources department.

For Pointel, he has plans. It is currently the period of recruitment with, as a highlight, the doors opening on January 25.
