The Guelmim-Oued Noun Regional Council has launched a call for expressions of interest (AMI) to support income-generating activities (AGR) for the benefit of women in difficult situations and people with disabilities.
This program, whose total cost reaches 20 million DH, is the result of a partnership between the regional council, the wilaya of the region, the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, the Agency of social development and National Assistance. The idea is to promote the empowerment of women, support for women’s cooperatives in the region as well as the economic integration of people with disabilities. In total, 3,000 beneficiaries and 300 women’s cooperatives are targeted in the different provinces of the region.
Funding for the program will be provided by the ministry and the Region. The project will also focus on the diversification and expansion of the marketing of products, in particular the establishment of an electronic platform, assistance in obtaining a health safety certificate and the craft label, and strengthening managerial, technical and commercial capacities…
