This year, the Faubourg Saint-Honoré Committee is once again celebrating the Chinese New Year and in particular Lunar New Year 2025 with a colorful parade this Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

The Lunar New Yearcommonly called Chinese New Yeartakes place this year on January 29, 2025. We celebrate the arrival of the year of Wood Snake which symbolizes vigor and vitality. For the occasion, Paris takes part in the festivities: certain neighborhoods display traditional decorations, restaurants are busy preparing special menus while the events are multiplying in the capital.

On the side of Faubourg Saint-Honoré Committeeit’s a colorful parade that awaits us this Wednesday February 5, 2025. A animation which highlights Asian traditions and folklore while lions, lanterns and dragons take over these Parisian streets in a swirl of shimmering colors. For the occasion, around thirty artists are taking over the Faubourg Saint-Honoré with their colorful characters and percussionists to give even more rhythm to this parade.

The appointment is given at in the 8th has 12h30 at the corner of Faubourg Saint-Honoré and the Royal Street. Between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., around thirty artists from the Paris Lion Sport group, dressed in dazzling costumes and masters of percussion, will lead this festive and lively procession. This exotic parade, made up of mythical lions and dragons, symbols of nobility and luck, will stroll to the sound of traditional rhythms for our greatest pleasure.
