The development of network infrastructure, including 5G, very high-speed fiber optic networks and the Internet of Things, continues to progress rapidly in China. The number of connected users continues to grow, as does the volume of mobile data consumed. Furthermore, the country had 1.2 billion broadband Internet access ports, an increase of 63.6 million year-on-year.
Revenues from telecommunications services also show stable growth. Between January and November 2024, the sector's cumulative revenue reached 1,594.7 billion yuan, recording a year-on-year increase of 2.6 percent. In total volume, calculated at constant prices of the previous year, growth amounts to 10% over one year.
