Located at the foot of the majestic Mont-Blanc, offering a spectacular view of the west face of the massif, this chalet belonged to the family of Cécilia Finet's partner. When the opportunity to acquire it presented itself, the couple did not hesitate. Passionate about interior architecture, expert in the curation of art and objects, Cécilia drew on her rich life experiences in Paris, Tokyo, London and Geneva, to carry out an ambitious renovation. Inspired by the work of Charlotte Perriand, whose history is deeply linked to Savoy and Japan, Cécilia imagined a design combining local craftsmanship and modernity. An aesthetic combining natural wood, Japanese paper and an elegant black and white contrast was thus adopted.
The project was entrusted to an architect friend and carried out by a team of local craftsmen. The original features have been restored with meticulous care, while the barn has been redesigned and transformed into a bright, contemporary living space. The result? A perfect harmony between airy modernity and timeless authenticity. Visit.
