Ennaam Mayara insisted in his speech on the consolidation of union achievements, the improvement of working conditions, the reduction of professional risks specific to the sector, and the promotion of the strategic role of phosphates in the national economy. He also underlined the importance of strengthening social dialogue between unions and the general management of the OCP, with the aim of establishing a climate of trust guaranteeing stability and competitiveness.

Faced with the challenges of technological transformations, fluctuations in international markets and increasing demands for sustainability, Mayara called for unity and mobilization of workers. He highlighted the need for constructive social dialogue to support these changes while ensuring social justice.

The election of Adil Azmiya to the position of national secretary of the National Phosphates Union was welcomed by Mayara as a strong signal of strategic continuity and strengthened union governance. This election reflects a collective desire to defend workers' rights while adapting the union to the new demands of the sector.

“My election as national secretary of the National Union of the Phosphate Sector,” he declared, “invests me with great responsibility. I will deploy all my efforts to ensure that the union is at the forefront of defense of workers' rights and to strengthen its role as an active partner in the national economic and social landscape.”

The congress should end on Saturday with the announcement of recommendations, aimed at guiding innovative and ambitious union action, meeting the economic and social challenges of the phosphates sector.
