HMD and Rokbak: flexible financing solutions in West Africa
The new partnership between concessionaire HMD and Rokbak brings flexible financing options supported by Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and Private Insurers (PRIs) to West African projects.

Since June 2024, when HMD, West Africa’s leading equipment dealer, officially launched the Rokbak brand in Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Benin, Guinea and Ivory Coast, the RA30 and RA40 have gained consensus thanks to their robust design and energy performance. Recently, it is also the availability of attractive financing which is boosting demand.

Through UK Export Finance (UKEF), the Swedish Export Credit Agency (EKN) and a network of PRIs, HMD customers can now access competitive financing packages, designed to make purchasing easier articulated dumpers made in Scotland. These flexible financing solutions reduce the financial burden of fleet expansion through affordable interest rates, extended repayment periods and structured payment plans tailored to the requirements of West Africa operations. This support is particularly valuable for projects requiring multiple articulated haulers or complete fleet solutions.

“This is a tremendous support for us and our customers,” said Matthew Khouri, CEO of HMD. These financing options demonstrate our commitment to not just selling equipment, but to truly partnering with our customers to ensure their success and growth.” “The availability of flexible financing opens up new opportunities in West Africa. With HMD’s local expertise, we enable companies to embark on major projects with the right tools and resources to drive infrastructure and economic development across the region,” emphasizes Paul Douglas, Managing Director of Rokbak.
