Stellantis is honoring more than 660 young high school and university graduates, children of employees in 22 countries, by closing its third edition of the global Student Awards program.
Stellantis encourages young people to innovate. Thus, more than 600 young graduates, children of employees in 22 countries, were highlighted during the 3rd edition of the global Student Awards program. These talents were rewarded with financial assistance during a remote ceremony.
This one-year educational program encourages the innovative spirit of talented people. This year, the candidates shared their vision of future mobility in a written essay and designed examples of tomorrow’s mobility technologies highlighting their creativity and their spirit of anticipation. Since its inception in Italy in 1996, the program has recognized nearly 16,000 students worldwide with financial rewards. John Elkann, President of Stellantis, and Xavier Chéreau, Human Resources and Heritage, recognized the winners during a remote ceremony. “Over the past 28 years, the student awards have celebrated thousands of passionate young people,” said John Elkann. He added: “We were deeply impressed by this year’s applications and thank our graduates for their insightful contributions. Stellantis continues to encourage continuing education. Allocating resources to this generation of talent ensures the creativity and agility needed for a sustainable future.” Further highlighting the importance of the company’s people, John Elkann, in his first week as interim chairman, visited iconic sites in Auburn Hills, Michigan. ) ; in Modena, Italy; and finally to Vélizy, France, for the awards ceremony. “Education is the foundation of innovation and growth,” explained Xavier Chéreau. This year, 46% of honorees applied for the Sergio Marchionne Award of Excellence, a secondary award recognizing six regional honorees who have demonstrated passion for a better future. In 2024, the winners of the “Sergio MarchionneAward” are Nathan Ren, (China), Felix Regler (Germany), Shraddha Murali (India), AdrielleNaidoo (South Africa), Grace Liu (United States), and Maria Luiza Francisco Moreira (Brazil). Note that the six regional winners had the opportunity to interview for a position within Stellantis.
