The train was due to arrive at 5:30 p.m. this Friday, November 29. A TGV Ouigo which linked (Île-de-France) to Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) found itself blocked for more than 7 hours. The cause: shortly before 4 p.m., he collided with a car on a level crossing, in the town of Beaupuy, near Marmande (Lot-et-Garonne).

If the driver extricated himself from his vehicle at the last minute, the impact was brutal and traffic had to be interrupted between Langon () and Marmande. Many passengers then remained stranded for long hours, waiting for information and a solution.

Giovanna Marsico was one of the passengers. On X (formerly Twitter), she reports in real time the difficult situation in which the travelers found themselves. At 9:20 p.m., she informs that “the train has been stopped for more than 5 hours in Marmande. No food for the passengers” and the doors would have remained “closed”.

At almost 11 p.m., the situation has not changed. Another passenger, Anna Toumazoff, wrote in a post “babies, old people” and assures that he has not received “still no supplies”. A little earlier, another Internet user was outraged at the fact that there was no “not even water on board”.

At 9:20 p.m., the SNCF announced a “reprise progressive” traffic, but also “significant delays” for the evening and the next morning, Saturday November 30.
