A global outage
According to BFMconcerns have been reported on a global scale on Word, Powerpoint, and even Teams. According to the specialized site Downdetector, users from France, Spain and the United States have been reporting these bugs since this morning. We are now seeing a downward trend in reports, even if all the problems do not seem to have disappeared.
On X (formerly Twitter), the Tech giant decided to communicate about this incident. The group confirms: “We are investigating an issue affecting users trying to access Exchange Online or Microsoft Teams Calendar features”.
The company does not directly refer to Outlook, but we encountered problems connecting to the platform. As recalled LiberationHowever, Exchange Online is the corporate email service that Outlook depends on.
According to the Belgian daily The eveningthe failure would be partly linked to the browser you are using: Google Chrome. If this is the case, you can use another one until the problem is resolved to access your mailbox. During our observations, however, Outlook did not work on the Firefox browser.
