A new office building will be built in Droixhe, within the Volta Business Parc, marking a significant step in the redevelopment of this rapidly changing area. The building, with an area of 7,905 m², will include offices, a conference center and meeting rooms. This project, led by Noshaq, received the green light from the Collège municipal de Liège.
The modern architectural design of the building will make an aesthetic contribution to the entrance to the city, located along Avenue Georges Truffaut, while rehabilitating an old wasteland. NSI, a growing IT services company, will be the main occupant of the building, which will become its headquarters from spring 2027.
NSI, active in four countries, employs more than 1,800 people. The building will offer 400 workstations, embodying an emblematic location for the group. This project is part of the objective of repositioning Droixhe as a future “IT campus” attractive to innovative companies.
The Volta Business Parc, built on the former Electrabel site, is a dynamic hub intended to accommodate 25 SME units in a strategic environment, located near the motorways and the tram terminus.
In addition, the project emphasizes sustainability, with solar panels, eco-friendly materials and solutions to reduce the carbon footprint. Added to this is a landscaping approach, including the greening of roofs and additional plantings, in accordance with the Canopy plan.
The Alderwoman for Urban Planning, Christine Defraigne, is delighted with this initiative, “which supports job creation while responding to ecological challenges”, she believes.
