“It’s an important establishment”weighs Maxime Lejeune, real estate manager at Lidl. According to him, the German brand specifically wanted to set up in Saint-Laurent-du-. And for good reason, there was no Lidl store yet. The very first opened its doors in the Pugets district, a booming area, where buildings continue to grow.

“The store is located at the foot of a new building and is 970m². There is also an underground car park with 81 spaces”explains Maxime Lejeune.

Delighted, customers were able to discover the place, which presents the new concept of the brand, the same as in the stores in Carros or West. “This is the concept developed for several years by Lidl.” Hours remain the same as in neighboring towns: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The first four days of opening, a solidarity collection took place, in favor of the local schools. From 15 euros of purchase, 50 cents were donated to the school fund. “The check will be delivered after the Christmas holidays.”
