The holiday season could cost more this year for those sending packages, as Canada Post announced delays in its deliveries, forcing its customers to find alternatives.
During the entire period of Canada Post’s national strike, packages will be “neither processed nor delivered” until the resumption of activities, the Canadian company announced in a press release on Friday.

This risks impacting the holiday shopping period, especially in the run-up to Black Friday next week, but also parcel shipments provincially, nationally and even internationally.
If there are other companies providing the same delivery service, their pricing may force customers to pay a little more this year to have a package delivered.
