Renault has just confirmed the marketing of its Renault 5 E-Tech electric with a 40 kWh battery. The catalog of the diamond-shaped EV city car will also be expanded with two new finishes.
For several days, the new Renault 5 E-Tech electric has been available to order in the Urban Range version with the small 40 kWh battery. A battery which promises a range of up to 312 km (WLTP cycle), and which Renault announces in advance from €23,990 (2024 ecological bonus deducted, subject, from next year, to its conservation at the current amount).
A Five finish without automatic air conditioning?
Note that the Renault 5 E-Tech electric 40 kWh, available next year in France, will be offered with a new entry-level finish called Five, while a Roland-Garros finish will top the range of the Losange electric city car. Finally, remember that the current least expensive finish in the catalog of the electric R5 is the Evolution finish. We can therefore assume that the attack Five finish planned for next year will be even less well equipped, for example by increasing the size of the hubcaps to 17 inches (compared to 18 inches), and/or by removing the standard automatic air conditioning on the Evolution finish.
