For the Italian brand Ferrari, the year 2024 has been busy. It has just presented its new Ferrari F80 supercar, heir to the Ferrari LaFerrari, while this year it also unveiled the Ferrari 12Cilindri responsible for taking over from the Ferrari 812 Superfast and its GTS and Competizione versions. The year 2025 should allow the prancing horse brand to once again be talked about.
Next year, Ferrari plans to present its first 100% electric model. A highly anticipated model which should be launched on the market in 2026. But there is also in the pipeline the replacement of the “entry level” Ferrari, the Ferrari Roma. It is a prototype of this future replacement which was surprised near Maranello by our scoop hunters. Cit could change its name or take the same name, but add the term Modificata.
The Spider continues its journey
The Ferrari Roma arrived on the market in 2020 and now the time for its replacement has arrived. This will be carried out in two stages, Ferrari should replace the coupe, while the convertible body (Ferrari Roma Spider), arriving in 2023, should continue its career for a few more years before being replaced.
Design modification: deep or light?
For the Ferrari Roma coupe version, the prancing horse brand should not revolutionize things. We also see that the heavily camouflaged prototype displays similar proportions to the current model, which is why the possibility of a modified car (Modificata) rather than a completely new model is possible. What is certain is that the changes should concern both the exterior design of the vehicle but also the interior. Because this one is also camouflaged and should, according to our scoop hunters, be modified.
Still a V8 with probably more horsepower
For the motorization of this new car, iIt is very likely that the 3.9 biturbo V8 will be retained. He could see his power increasedthis being currently 620 hp, it could increase by 10 or 20 horsepower. This block could also be associated with a slight hybridizationwithout this being, for the moment, confirmed by the Maranello sports brand.
