On RTL, Mr. Christophe Lèguevaques (CLE) invited on June 7 Mr. Carlos Tavares, boss of Stellantis (parent company of Citroën) to come and meet the manufacturer’s customers who were victims of the defective airbag scandal as part of the recall of C3 models. and DS3.

As explained in the video by the lawyer – who launched a collective action against Citroën – the potential meeting must take place in Marseille on Tuesday June 25. Carlos Tavares did not respond to this invitation but Citroën responded through its boss Thierry Koskas via a press release directly addressed to Mr. Lèguevaques.

“We do not consider it relevant to attend the June 25 meeting”

“As part of this recall, we have established communication channels […] with our customers in order to best respond to each of their requests. Automobiles Citroën is fully mobilized to provide a concrete resolution to the inconveniences our customers encounter. […] In view of these elements, we do not consider it relevant to attend the meeting of June 25.” We can read in particular in the press release.

A meeting between Citroën management and the manufacturer’s dissatisfied customers will therefore not take place in Marseille.
