The new franchise, scheduled to open on February 11, will be located on Arseneault Avenue in the Saint-Grégoire sector and will offer nearly ten seats. However, it is the delivery and take-out counter option that is preferred in Bécancour.

“This location offers us the opportunity to serve not only passing customers, but also those in daily transit, due to its strategic position along Highway 55. This will also allow us to quickly deliver our pizzas and poutines. to citizens and families in the Nicolet, Bécancour and Saint-Célestin sectors,” says Élisabeth Abbatiello, co-owner of the chain with her three brothers and sister and responsible for communications at Pizza Salvatoré.

The new restaurant, which required an investment of $700,000, will also create around thirty part-time and full-time jobs, it is confirmed.

Place for franchisees

The new franchise in Bécancour joins that of Boulevard des Forges in Trois-Rivières which was acquired in 2022, at the same time as the Abbatiello family, owner of the chain, opened the doors to franchising almost two years. On the Bécancour side, Anthony Labelle and Denis Cadorette are the new franchisees.

Moreover, the last year was significant for the Quebec company which experienced expansion in the province with a total of 102 pizzerias in operation.

“Each pizzeria generates a high sales volume and our network is financially robust, which allows us to continue our expansion, one of the largest in Canada in the fast food sector,” concludes Élisabeth Abbatiello.
