The 41st Fête d’ici et d’ailleurs took place this Sunday, June 16, 2024, in the Promenades d’Alençon park. Between a few downpours, she fulfilled her mission: to fight against racism and bring people together. All afternoon, the park saw people of all ages passing by the stages and stands. And, once again, the cooked dishes from Laos, Palestine, the Comoros, Nigeria… were a hit.

As the queue lengthens in front of the Phinasa family’s culinary stand, conversations take place between those who would not miss their papaya salad and samosas cooked in Laotian style for anything in the world. “It’s really good to see so many people,” smiled Marcone. This Sunday, the 41e Fête d’ici et d’ailleurs takes place in the Parc des Promenades, in the city center of Alençon.
