In the midst of stunned but ultimately understanding customers and employees who continued their tasks, they came to denounce the daily pressures suffered by the employees of this supermarket.

Céline Arnaud, trade manager of the CGT , lists: “Insults, humiliation, moral and sexual harassment… Unheard of from management!” she assures, while several employees give their testimony. Like Sonia: “I can’t sleep, I have lost confidence in myself and my professional abilities”explains the one who is now followed in a day hospital.

The young woman, since dismissed for incapacity, “request compensation”. She also filed a file with the Industrial Tribunal and initiated criminal proceedings. And she's not alone.

“Nearly twenty files are in progress,” continues Céline Arnaud. “But what we also want is to question the CEO of the Mousquetaires group, Thierry Cotillard, about what is happening here.”

Message heard?

It is also to appeal to the public that leaflets were distributed to customers.

During the two hours that the “show of force”, in a good-natured atmosphere, without excess and under surveillance of the municipal police and the gendarmerie, the management remained invisible. Only the director of the supermarket, Didier Vieux, came, furious, to order the demonstrators to leave the premises. No effect.

For now, this is the only reaction we have managed to get from management.

A little before 11 a.m., the demonstrators finally came out, still peacefully, before continuing their gathering in the parking lot.

But, warned Richard Romeo-Giberti, the departmental secretary of the CGT, “if the message is not heard, we will come back!”
