India is a crucial market for the Skoda brand, which hopes to sell more than 100,000 vehicles per year there by 2026. An objective that is certainly ambitious but nevertheless realistic which will necessarily involve a product offensive adapted to the particularities of the subcontinent. For the moment, Skoda’s local range is based around the Slavia sedan (a Fabia with a 4.54 m long trunk) and the Kushaq urban adventurer SUV with a size of 4.22 m, a sort of version Kamiq Indian.
To which are added the Superb and the Kodiaq which we know at home but which have not yet been replaced. This is in fact the third generation Superb and the first version of the Kodiaq.

The Skoda Kylaq sports the brand’s new stylistic identity called “modern solid” characterized by very fine daytime running lights perched on the edge of the hood. While at the rear, a black plastic strip glued to the tailgate sheet metal is reminiscent of certain Citroën creations. The chevron brand is also very present in India, notably with its local version of the C3 Aircross, which still sports a snout with the old look and has just launched its SUV Coupé, the Citroën Basalt.
