The event includes a one-day seminar for professionals offered by the Federal Housing Office (FHO), with the theme “Designing housing for all generations”. It is based on public programming open to all interested parties and organized by the City of Fribourg.
“Housing is a subject that affects the entire population,” recall the organizers in their press release. This is why the OFL organizes the Swiss Housing Days every year. The host city changes with each edition, it is Friborg which will therefore have the honor of welcoming them this year.
Additional program
The majority of events will take place at L’Atelier. Through conferences, discussions or even round tables and exhibitions, the City and its partners will address models of housing cooperatives, intergenerational housing and even the upgrading of existing housing through sanitation.
Beyond that, Friborg has put together an additional program. This is an opportunity for the City to address themes linked to the observations made on its housing stock, to open the horizon to new housing models and to launch discussions between the population, specialists, authorities and real estate players.
