A wine barrel with good bottles of wine placed on it installed in front of the window of “La cave à vins”, an original way of inviting you to pass through the door of this new brand managed by Sébastien Hélliès.

“From Vines to Glass” opened its doors recently. “After spending twenty years at Jardiland, I wanted to change activities and participate in the dynamics of Carmaux, where I have lived for 22 years,” explains Sébastien.

After intensive training in oenology and obtaining his diploma, he moved into a bright boutique, completely renovated and adapted to present the most beautiful wines on the planet.

“I work with quality wines, around forty selected producers. I choose my producers myself, and I currently have around 150 wine references, white, red, rosé.”

Regions of France, foreign wines from South Africa, Lebanon, Mexico, Chile or even New Zealand, the choice is vast for the customer who will also be able to discover spirits and beers, such as Cap d’Ona, best dark beer in the world 2022.

At the back of the store, Sébastien has installed a tasting area. “Here, you can enjoy by choosing your wine, around a platter of charcuterie and/or cheese. It is by reservation and it is every lunchtime from Tuesday to Friday.” Finally, outside, a terrace currently being installed will very soon be able to welcome customers. “I also offer beer taps for rent, for weddings, party committees, associations… which can be rented all year round, and also a white wine tap, and a refreshment stand.” So want to taste a good wine, a good beer or other excellent beverage in a friendly space, go to number 7 avenue Jean-Jaurès, every day from 9:30 a.m. and even on Sundays from 10 a.m. 12 hours.
