In an internal memo that LSA obtained, Guillaume Darrasegeneral manager of Auchan Retail, announces that “in agreement with Yves Claude and the Auchan Retail Board (…) an evolution of the governance of Auchan Retail from this day. For greater efficiency and greater clarity, I would like to set up a simplified organization, around a tight team which will, alongside you, bear the responsibility of leading Auchan on the path to competitiveness and value creation. Deputy General Manager in charge of support functions – Patrice MOULIN

A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de /NEOMA and a master's degree in finance from ESCP, Patrice has built most of his career in large-scale food distribution. He started at Promodès before flourishing in financial and management control functions at Carrefour (CFO and VP in China); He then joined In Vivo Retail as Deputy General Manager, in charge of Finance, IT and Real Estate. Since 2019, Patrice has held the position of Corporate General Manager at Lactalis, overseeing all support functions. He joined Auchan Retail last June as Deputy Managing Director.


Human Resources and Communication Director – Christophe CARREYRE

Coming from a scientific background (DEA in Physics), Christophe successively worked at the CNRS, then in teaching. After 3 years in the banking sector, he joined Auchan in 1996 in then as department manager. He then progressed as sector manager in , deputy director of Perpignan and store director in Mériadeck. His career continued as regional director in the West, in Ile-de-France, in the South, and finally in the West. He joined central services in 2019 to lead the Renaissance program and the transformation of French projects. Christophe has been responsible for human resources in France since October 2021.


Offer/Supply Director – Vincent AVIGNON,

He began his career in 1989 in a Continental hypermarket, he would then be in regional responsibility for the heavy bazaar sector (culture and household appliances). He then successively joined the FNAC and Boulanger brands. His career at Boulanger led him to take on regional, then national, commercial responsibility. From 2002, he managed marketing/offering/sourcing activities in Spain and was a member of the supervisory board. From 2006 to 2011, he managed, as general manager, the company Aquamondo (St Gobain group) in France and Spain. From 2011 to 2025, he was executive director of the southern region of the Lapeyre brand and then took charge of the development of the brand's franchise (120 points of sale). From 2015 to 2018, Vincent held the position of Executive Director at Jardiland. Since 2018, Vincent, as deputy general manager of the Invivo-Terac group and member of the executive committee, has successively been in charge of operations, management of a growth plan, supply strategies and competitiveness strategies. .


Marketing and Brand Director – Sandrine BURGAT

Sandrine began her career at Publicis in 1987 as head of advertising. In 1993, she entered the world of retail as communications director for Intermarché Europe. In 2000 and for 10 years, within the communications consultancy agency “Australia”, Sandrine supported the commerce and brand strategy of the Leclerc brand as commercial director. From 2011 and for 10 years, she joined the Système U brand, as marketing, brand and communications director. In 2022, Sandrine was in charge of marketing and CSR for the LAPEYRE group. Last April, Sandrine joined Auchan as director of business planning, commercial activities and customers in France.


Quality & CSR Director – Laurent FRANCONY

An agricultural engineer, Laurent began his career in the wine industry in research and development to industrialize the use of new packaging for mass distribution. Then, at CODIVIA RHÔNE, he developed the French and export commercial activity. From the 2000s, for AGRO MARCHÉS INTERNATIONAUX, he advised on the implementation of traceability and purchasing management tools within the agri-food sectors. It was in 2004 that he joined mass distribution, within the Système U brand as quality, safety, societal and environment director. He then joined the Carrefour group in 2019 where he took charge of the quality management of the group and of France.
