HPS is expanding its global presence with a new office in India. This expansion is seen as an important step in the group’s global growth strategy.

It is certainly one of the only countries in which HPS had not yet set foot. The Moroccan multinational leader in the provision of payment software and services announces the official opening of its new office and delivery center in Pune, India. Ravi Abdeslam Alaoui Smaili, CEO of the group, considers this expansion as an important step in HPS’s global growth strategy.

“Pune, with its vibrant business community and skilled talent, perfectly aligns with our vision of providing best-in-class solutions to our clients across the globe. We look forward to building new relationships and contributing to the growth of the business world in the region,” he says.

And for good reason, the strategic choice of the city of Pune “reflects our group’s commitment to increasing its global presence and strengthening its capabilities to provide exceptional services to its clients around the world”.

It must be said that India’s cultural capital, which is known “for its thriving business ecosystem and talent, emerges as the ideal destination for the company’s expansion efforts.”

Moreover, HPS management is ambitious for this office which, as a delivery center, is called upon “to play an essential role in supporting the group’s mission, which consists of providing cutting-edge solutions and services , in particular to issuers, acquirers, switches and ATM solutions, to customers from various sectors of activity in India and the subcontinent (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal)”. It will allow it to “tap into the rich pool of local talent, promoting innovation, diversity and a collaborative work environment”.

More broadly, this office will “spearhead HPS’ expansion efforts in India and across the subcontinent, leveraging the region’s vibrant business ecosystem and skilled talent.”

It will also serve as a “vital hub, providing additional resources to support project delivery, customer support and product research and development for the entire group, supporting the accelerated growth of the company all over the world. It is partly for these reasons that its management was entrusted to Vikram Samant. A seasoned professional with 22 years of experience in electronic payment technology and digital transformation who brings with him international technology experience in the Asia Pacific and European markets, as well as leadership in areas of the payments industry.
