Taptap Send Maroc introduces direct bank transfers

Taptap Send, a start-up specializing in international money transfers, is introducing a new feature for its Moroccan users: direct bank transfers. Previously, funds were collectible through Cashplus and Wafacash branches, but now users can send money directly to Moroccan bank accounts. The main Moroccan banks, such as Bank of Africa, Attijariwafa bank, CIH, Banque Populaire, and CFG, are included in this new service.

The process is simple: all you need is the RIB of the recipient in Morocco to transfer funds via our application. These funds are generally available within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the bank. », explains Soufiane Marhraoui, Director of Taptap Send Maroc. “ This new solution allows Moroccan bank account holders to fund their accounts in dirhams from abroad in a few clicks », Adds, for her part, Nouha Maazouzi, Growth Manager at Taptap Send.

Furthermore, this functionality, available from April 2024, allows beneficiaries to receive funds within 24 to 48 hours, thus eliminating the need to travel to an agency. Note that Taptap Send offers this service without transfer fees and with advantageous exchange rates, thanks to its 100% digital model. The startup also plans to launch instant bank transfers soon.
