The French manufacturer is renewing its range, focusing on 100% electric. Here are the new models that will appear in 2025 at Peugeot.
The year 2025 will be rather calm in terms of new products at Peugeot : here are the models expected for next year from the French manufacturer.
New features coming from Peugeot
This year, the news of the lion brand is marked by the launch of Third generation Peugeot 5008orders for which were launched at the beginning of the summer, with micro-hybrid gasoline engines of 136 horsepower, plug-in hybrid of 195 horsepower, and 100% electric of 210 horsepower.
The model is currently presented to the public at the Paris Motor Show, which will open its doors until October 20, 2024. The opportunity to also discover the new Long Range versions of the 3008 and 5008which combine a 230 horsepower electric motor with a useful 97 kWh battery, offering respectively 700 and 668 km of autonomy according to the WLTP mixed cycle.
One of the other new features this year is the arrival of a 100% electric version on the 408, with the new Peugeot e-408. This is equipped with the 100% electric 210 horsepower engine found on the Peugeot e-3008 and e-5008, combined with a 58 kWh net battery, offering up to 453 km of autonomy according to the WLTP cycle.
Peugeot 308 III restyled: new for 2025
The Peugeot e-408 will be marketed during 2025, and will make headlines with the new Peugeot 5008 III, as well as the new “Long Range” engines in the e-3008 and e-5008 range. But what about new new features to come ?
The Sochaux firm has not yet revealed any information on this subject, but it seems that the year 2025 will be marked by the arrival of a restyling for the third generation Peugeot 308. The 308 is in fact an essential compact sedan model at Peugeot, whose launch dates back to 2007, and which has since been available in three generations. The latest was marketed in 2021, and will therefore celebrate its 4th anniversary next year: a mid-career facelift will therefore be expected in 2025.
Aesthetically, the changes should be quite discreet on this restyled Peugeot 308 III, but the range of engines will be updated on this occasion, in particular with the arrival of a 58 kWh battery, borrowed from the new e-408, which would offer more autonomy to the 100% electric Peugeot e-308 version. The Peugeot 208 and 2008 should soon see a whole new generation, but the launch will take place around 2026.
