The Auto Sécurité technical inspection center in Capdenac-Gare recently changed ownership. Since March 1, Gauthier Coupans has been at the head of the establishment located at 1 rue Jean-Moulin. Before this takeover, the center belonged to the Chabbaud establishments, which had three centers, including two in Figeac in addition to that of Capdenac. Gauthier, employed at Chabbaud since June 2023, then began working as an employee in the Capdenac center in September of the same year. “I completed my training in June 2023, and I also benefit from solid experience as an automobile mechanic. I had a revelation during my 3rd year internship which I did in an automobile garage specializing in racing cars.” After a classic course from the CEP to the professional baccalaureate, he worked as a technician at Renault, specializing in ZE expert (electric vehicles). Established for almost three years in a region where he feels fulfilled, Gauthier lives in Frontenac, and is passionate about his profession. Now aged 28, he now devotes himself to managing his own technical control center. Under his management, the place offers a completely renovated welcome, with the installation of a water fountain “in anticipation of the hot summer weather”, and the possibility for customers to enjoy a free coffee. For existing customers, the change of ownership does not mean any change in the services offered. Gauthier Coupans remains an Auto Sécurité franchisee, and keeps the same telephone number. “All types of vehicles are supported, as long as they meet category L, namely everything that has been subject to technical inspection since April 15: motorcycles, buggies, quads, cars without a license… etc. I m “occupies both old and recent vehicles”, specifies the controller. The center is open from Monday afternoon to Saturday morning inclusive, with sometimes flexible hours. “I manage to adapt to the needs of the customers. If I have to stay later or start earlier, I make myself available.”
