Disway’s consolidated turnover (CA) fell by 8.8% in the first quarter, year-on-year, to stand at 438 million DH. Disway Maroc’s turnover fell by 12.6% to 364 million DH during the first three months of this year, the company indicates in a press release.

In detail, the activity of the Volume segment (fixed and portable PCs, printing and imaging products, etc.) decreased by 11.6% to 318 million DH, unlike that of the Value segment (storage, servers , network, security, etc.), which experienced growth of 19.6% compared to the 1st quarter of 2023, to stand at 106 million DH. This progression is explained by the completion of several important projects initiated at the end of 2023.

In other segments, turnover increased from 32 million DH in Q1-2023 to 14 million DH in Q1-2024, “mainly due to the sharp drop in prices on photovoltaic panels, despite volumes up 30% , but also the cessation of the distribution of Hikvision since Q2-2023”. The company also emphasizes that despite a difficult start, the 2024 outlook remains “positive” since several important projects are expected to materialize in the coming quarters.
