New renovations for Club Med Les Boucaniers

A veteran of the group’s villages in America, the venerable establishment was already treated to a first facelift last year.

After the work undertaken last fall, Club Med Les Boucaniers, in Martinique, will undergo new renovations.

Now that significant changes have been made to some rooms, reception, the main restaurant and bar, additional improvements will be finalized for winter 2025.

These will focus on the remaining unrenovated rooms and new layouts for the main restaurant and spa.

A pioneering club

Club Med Les Boucaniers was founded in 1969, making it the first Club Med Village to open its doors on the American continent.

Nestled in the large coconut groves of Martinique, facing the Diamond Rock, this Village in the French West Indies is distinguished by the beauty of its coastline and its prime location in the middle of turquoise waters.

The Village will undergo the second phase of its renovation in order to modernize infrastructure and improve the overall guest experience. These renovations are part of Club Med’s overall commitment to evolving the brand towards an even more premium experience.

What to expect?

  • The remaining 78 rooms will undergo a complete renovation with new modern furniture as well as new decorative elements, including new fabrics, curtains and lighting. The bathrooms will also be completely refurbished and will benefit from new equipment, finishes and fixtures. All the rooms in the Village will therefore be renovated for winter 2025.
  • After the renovation of the outdoor dining room, the two interior rooms will be renovated and refurnished.
  • The spa will be completely renovated and new cabins will be created.
