A festive evening full of discoveries was organized at the new Company Club in Pays Foyen during an afterwork evening on Wednesday September 24. The members of the association were able to discover local products thanks to a tasting offered by the local grocery store Le Nouvel Élan, at a place called La Trapelle in Pineuilh. Château de Ligueux, managed by Richard Curty, also participated in this evening by offering a selection of its wines for tasting.
The Rotary Club of Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, partner of the event, underlined the importance of this type of initiative to promote social ties and economic development in the region.
This evening was also an opportunity for Jennifer Ribeyreix, the president of the association, to inaugurate her new classroom at the training organization for Speak-you French and English in Pineuilh and to submit its members to a quiz. cultural, which helped create a good dynamic between the participants.
A real success
This second evening was a real success. The discussions were numerous and warm, testifying to the vitality of this new Business Club in Pays Foyen. The organizers are delighted with this success and are already planning new meetings with other clubs in Bergerac.
“It’s a club open to all, for local, regional and international French companies, associations, communities, but also individuals looking for employment or looking for information on companies,” says Jennifer Ribeyreix, who has already scheduled future meeting dates.
So Wednesday October 16 will be the occasion for a workshop to discover Indian spices, led by their British member Friday Take Away in the premises of Speak you French or English and in November in the pottery workshop, led by Joanna Mckinnon , rue des Frères-Reclus in Sainte-Foy-la-Grande.
