Béni Mellal – The City of Trades and Skills (CMC) of Béni Mellal-Khénifra offers a range of renewed and restructured diploma and qualification courses which correspond to the specific needs of the labor market and the socio-economic ecosystem of the region, underlined the regional director of the Office of Professional Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT) in Béni Mellal-Khénifra, Abdelouahab Dlia.

In an interview with MAP, Mr. Dlia indicated that the CMC Béni Mellal-Khénifra whose official start was given recently, marking the beginning of a new era in the training of trainees in sectors meeting the standards and requirements of the regional labor market is one of the 12 CMCs which will cover the entire Kingdom, noting that these CMCs are carried out within the framework of the new roadmap for the development of vocational training.

The CMC Béni Mellal, spread over an area of ​​15 Ha and the result of an investment of 390 MMD, provides new trainees with all the means and tools necessary to be trained in an environment conducive to learning and stimulating. personal development, he indicated, recalling the renewed and energy-liberating educational approach that it offers to trainees with a view to developing their skills in ten professional sectors using the latest generation educational equipment.

And Mr. Dlia points out that the CMC Béni Mellal also offers spaces for living and leisure, innovation, human interaction and constructive exchanges via common structures including a FabLab, an incubator, a language center and soft skills, a media library, a cafeteria as well as a trainee house with a capacity of 400 beds including 200 beds for girls.

Regarding the courses provided, the regional manager underlined that the CMC Béni Mellal offers 64 diploma and qualifying training courses in 10 professional sectors which correspond to the needs of the socio-economic ecosystem of the region, recalling that these respond to the specific needs of the regional labor market.

These clusters include, industry with an educational factory; construction (with a smart home), transport and logistics (with driving tracks); tourism and hospitality (with an educational hotel and restaurant); agriculture (with an educational farm); management and commerce (with a virtual business); digital and artificial intelligence; agribusiness; crafts as well as art and the graphic industry, he said.

These training courses, he continues, allow trainees to acquire technical and practical skills directly linked to the requirements of the job market, citing in this sense the Professional Orientation Center established within the CMC Béni Mellal-Khénifra in as a new generation space, designed to help candidates identify their passions and interests and explore the professions of today and tomorrow to make a well-founded and well-considered choice.

Made up of different spaces run by guidance counselors, sponsor trainers, and ambassador trainees, this center also promotes networking and personal development and represents a key lever in the success of young people, by guiding them towards professional opportunities. and ensuring sustainable integration into the labor market, he concluded.
