The market capitalization of the stock market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded an increase of 52.418 billion FFA at the end of the trading session on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
This capitalization in fact increased from 8,156.889 billion FCFA on Monday, April 29, 2024 to 8,209.307 billion FCFA this Tuesday, April 30, 2024. At the origin of this increase, there is that of the indices. This is how the BRVM Composite index rose by 0.64% to 220.67 points against 219.26 points the day before.
For its part, the BRVM 30 index recorded an increase of 0.62% to 110.84 points against 110.16 points previously. The largest increase is achieved by the BRVM Prestige index with 1.46% to 104.42 points against 102.92 points the day before.
Concerning the capitalization of the bond market, it recorded an increase of 729 million, going from 10,275.994 billion FCFA the day before to 10,276.723 billion FCFA this Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
The value of transactions increased to 1.326 billion FCFA compared to 652.128 million FCFA previously.
At the level of the Top 5 of the highest price increases, we find the shares Servair Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire (up 7.38% at 1,600 FCFA), ETI Togo (up 5.88% at 18 FCFA), Total Côte d ‘Ivoire (plus 5.03% to 1,880 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 4.88% to 2,150 FCFA) and Onatel Burkina Faso (plus 3.48% to 2,380 FCFA).
As for the Flop 5 of the biggest price drops, we find the securities Uniwax Côte d’Ivoire (minus 1.94% at 505 FCFA), NSIA Banque Côte d’Ivoire (minus 1.90% at 5,690 FCFA), Sicable Côte d’Ivoire (minus 1.49% at 995 FCFA), Air Liquide Côte d’Ivoire (minus 1.33% at 740 FCFA) and Société Ivoirienne de Banque Côte d’Ivoire (minus 0.87% at 5,700 FCFA ).
