Audiobook specialist Storytel has released an audiobook produced entirely by AI, according to a press release.
By combining different AI tools, Storytel created AI author Rosy Lett, who in turn created the short story collection New Horizon. The anthology is published today in English, Swedish, Finnish and Danish on Storytel in Sweden and Finland, and on Mofibo in Denmark.
“One of the conclusions we drew is that AI tools can be very useful when it comes to planning and structuring content and providing suggestions and ideas, but we haven’t yet reached the point where tools can create innovative stories with their own voice and therefore cannot compete with human creativity.
