Ramonville-Saint-Agne. Pauline Alphen, patron of the Book Fair for Dyslexia

On October 9, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Ramonville community center will host the third edition of the Salon du livre accessible pour les Dys. This event, organized by the associations APEDYS and Avenir Dysphasie Midi-Pyrénées, members of the FFDys, is part of the 18th National Dys Days, on the theme “Accompanying Dys”. Admission is free.

An event to raise awareness of learning disabilities

Specific language and learning disorders, coordination and attention disorders affect more than 4,000 children born each year in Occitanie.

The Salon is designed for people with dyslexia, dysphasia or dyspraxia, and aims to facilitate access to reading. Authors, specialist publishers, associations and institutions will be present to offer inclusive solutions and adapted resources. It will be a unique opportunity to discover works and exchange with experts in the field.

Pauline Alphen, patron of the edition

The writer Pauline Alphen, known for “La vraie vie de l’école”, is the patron of this edition. Very committed to inclusion, her presence is highly anticipated. In addition to author dedications, several conferences will be organized on the themes of inclusion and accessibility to reading. Experts will propose avenues adapted to the needs of Dys children and adults.

A raffle to end the day

To close the event, a raffle will be organized, with prizes such as books or subscriptions offered by the partners.
