Mouans-Sartoux Book Festival: “Free Voices” until Sunday evening!

An annual event not to be missed. The Mouans-Sartoux Book Festival welcomes the whole village. On the theme of “Free Voices”, the program for today, Friday until Sunday, includes meetings, debates, readings, screenings, concerts, shows around 300 authors. Vibrant.

Difficult to present the program of the Mouans-Sartoux Book Festival, as it is multiple, vibrant, hair-raising, playing not only with the book and all its components, but also with music, cinema, painting, adding to the encounters , debates, round tables, concerts, readings, shows… Not to mention its prestigious authors, each of whom deserves to be named and distinguished. It gives the image of a world in fusion which, this year, will be boiling from today Friday until Sunday October 6 on the theme of “Free Voices”. “A forum for free and engaged voices in our contemporary world”

“The Book Festival is resolutely committed to being a forum for free and engaged voices in our contemporary world” eexplains like this Marie-Louise Gourdonthe director of the Festival and the soul of this event. “3 days of breathtaking excitement where you are all invited!” she adds in the presentation of this 37th edition.

Under the co-presidency of the singer and writer Magy Carfi (“My Mother’s Life”) and actress Isild Le Besco, some 300 authors, filmmakers, artists will participate in debates and meetings, powerful readings, concerts, shows and films… A few names in the host of invited authors such as that ofEgard Morinthe philosopher of complexity who celebrated his…103 years in July, Huston, Amos Gitai, Enki Bilal, David Foenkinos, Marie Modiano, Susie Morgenstern, Judith Chemla….

For three days, they will be in Mouans-Sartoux. Top start this morning with the presentation of the Pitchouns prize at 10:30 a.m. with a whole series of meetings already in the afternoon. Of course you won’t be able to do everything, see everything in these three days. But everyone, depending on their age (part of the festival targets the youngest), their aspirations, their tastes will find the best there. Entrance is free, as are debates and meetings and most films and shows. The Mouans-Sartoux Book Festival, it is recalled, is the whole village that welcomes!
