A simple story beautifully told

Gilbert Bordes: “The disappeared from Saint-Sauveur”
Jean and Valérie Baltoret hold a bakery-pastry reputed to thanks to their specialty called La Doré (very important in this story). They had a boy, François and a girl Marie, who disappeared when she was about twenty years old. The “disappeared” had time to give birth to a girl, Anaïs. Anaïs has grown but bad: she treats herself as an abortion, she is ugly, she sinks into alcoholism. In turn, she disappears.
A very “simple” story beautifully told by Gilbert Bordes (of which I am a fan).
