At Relecq-Kerhuon, the fourth edition of the Sell'ta book and image festival unveils its program

Sunday March 2, 2025, Le Relecq-Kerhuon will host the fourth edition of the Sell'ta book and image festival, which means “look then” in Breton. It is organized by Skolarn, the parents' association of Diwan du Relecq-Kerhuon college. This festival is an event around literature – rather local – and images, aimed at children and adults. A copious program will be offered to visitors on March 2: meetings with authors, reading and writing workshops, round tables, conferences and even film screenings.

Around forty authors

The curious will be able to meet more than forty authors from different literary genres: youth, crime fiction, poetry, novels, fiction, comics… It is also one of the invited comics illustrators, Gwendal Le Mercier, who worked on the festival poster.

In the morning, two reading workshop sessions led by Christine Borel will take place. She will share Plume's adventures with young audiences (from 6 years old). Then, Maïwenn Morvan will offer a workshop in Breton. In addition, four drawing workshops will be organized by Julien Lamanda.

News also in the spotlight

As usual, Sell'ta focuses on different social and current affairs subjects. This is why, this year, it will be possible to attend the first screening of the documentary “Petites gravels de Saint-Pierre”, by Alexis Gloaguen and Laurent Giraudineau, on child labor in Saint-Pierre and Miquelon. They will also be able to participate in a round table on “Second homes, a major problem? », with several speakers, including a journalist, a regional advisor, a novelist and an activist researcher.
