In December, three book boxes were installed in the town: one at Square Hervo, the other two at the entrances to the Bois des Évens and the Congrigoux green space, in Sainte-Marguerite. A fourth will complete this deployment before the summer.
It will be placed at the Booksellers kiosk, aptly named, located on Place des Océanes. Indeed, a seaside town appreciated by publishers at the beginning of the 20th centurye century and immortalized by illustrious authors such as Julien Gracq and Jacques Prévert, Pornichet until then had no book box. This void is now filled.
The principle is simple: everyone can post works they wish to share, or borrow those left by other readers. An initiative that invites exchange and literary discovery, in a spirit of sharing and accessible to all. It is therefore important that everyone ensures compliance with this new equipment.
