The severe cold plan provides for appropriate measures to protect the most exposed populations: homeless, isolated or precarious people. Citizens are invited to report anyone in distress by calling 115, a free number available 24 hours a day.
Three levels of vigilance
The severe cold plan includes three levels of vigilance, which can be activated between 1is November 2024 and March 31, 2025: yellow, orange and red.
The Vosges prefecture will regularly reassess the level of vigilance according to changes in weather conditions.
