Haikus, reading nights…
The exhibition on the theme of reflections by Mathieu Le Guern will be set up on Friday January 17 and will be held until March 8. Mathieu Le Guern, aka Krank Du, is a graphic designer and photographer in Plougastel-Daoulas and exhibits as part of the Taol Kurun 2025 festival, “A-hed an dour” (Along the water). It offers an exhibition of around fifty photographs largely inspired by nature, and particularly marine elements. His photographs are accompanied by haikus, short poems of Japanese origin with a demanding structure, in Breton and French.
The highlight of the month will be “Reading Nights, Friday January 24, at 6:30 p.m. Among the regular events, children will find story time, Wednesday January 15, at 3 p.m. on the theme of pancakes des rois, and Friday January 24, at 10:30 a.m., it will be up to the little ones to discover the new features in the media library. During her workshops, Patricia will introduce the “corner to corner” (c2c) crochet technique, Tuesday January 28, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., by reservation subject to availability.
