The 22nd Children's Book Fair in the land of King Morvan takes place in Morbihan, in Gourin from Thursday January 16 to Sunday January 26, and at Guémené-sur-Scorfffrom Tuesday January 28 to Wednesday February 5, 2025. The public will meet authors and attend numerous meetings and signings.

The children's book fair can be visited freely among the books. It will welcome eight authors specializing in children's literature and illustrators:

Sandrine Beau was born in 1968 in Poitou-Charentes, but lives in Franche-Comté. At a very young age, she became passionate about books. After her studies, she became a director of documentary and institutional films; she wrote her first screenplays. At the same time, she is also a clown in a troupe. Then, she became a radio presenter in , in Besançon in on Bleu for around fifteen years; she writes and records radio serials. She is also Miss Weather on France 3 Bourgogne Franche-Comté. It was after the birth of her children that she decided to start writing stories for the youngest. This passion never leaves her! In more than a decade, she has published around a hundred works which have earned her around thirty literary prizes including: the 2015 Chronos Prize in France; the 2016 Chronos Prize in Switzerland, for his detective novel All alone in the night ; the Incorruptibles Prize in 2018 for his novel The boy who spoke with his hands ; the 2021 Incorruptibles Prize for Fear in the snow of 2019.

Margaux Grappe : she studied graphic design in Besançon in the Doubs before joining the École Supérieure d' in Epinal in the Vosges, where she studied the arts of image and narration; she graduated in 2018 and launched into children's illustration the following year. She works in a small workshop in Besançon for authors and children's publishing houses: Eliza House ; Diplodocus ; the editions Hélium et Casterman. She also creates murals for public structures. Margaux Grappe dreams of wonderful tender worlds and her creations in acrylic paint are soft and colorful in a universe of atypical plants and funny, plump animals. She is also passionate about the plant microcosm.

Pierre Solettiborn in 1971, is an author and editor, poet and playwright. Even as a child, he wrote poems with his typewriter. Later, he painted on city walls! A lover of words, various inks and sounds, he writes for live performance and also performs on stage for public readings and concerts with Zebra Postmanthis group of striped stereophonic animals, led by the poet. Pierre Soletti's work is marked by the rejection of the inevitabilities of existence, the barbarity and the bitterness of this short life, with humor however, as evidenced by his 2017 play Auguste no longer knows much about the world. He wrote novels, short stories, stories, songs and albums for young people and for live performances, remaining above all a poet. He has published in numerous journals and collective works, the latest of which in 2023 are: These words cross borders and Frontières, small poetic atlas. Sébastien Mourrain is an illustrator, born in 1976 in in Seine-Saint-Denis. After obtaining his baccalaureate in economics, he began studying drawing at the School of Graphic Arts Emile Cohl from (69). Graduated in 2000, he devoted himself to illustration. Since then, he has worked in children's publishing and in the adult and children's press. In partnership for three years with the agency 3 Piece Suithe now works in a collective artist workshop: The Jar in Lyon. For more than 15 years, Sébastien Mourrain has been a sensitive colorist with elegant pencil lines. His albums have won over many readers. Sophie Lamoureux, journalist by training, lives in Haute-Garonne, in . She also holds a master's degree in History, because she wants to make great History accessible to young people! After working for several media and working as an independent journalist, she specializes in writing documentaries for young people and edits notably at Gallimard Youth. Question History, she wrote in 2015: On the trail of shadowy heroes: The resistance fighters of the Second World War and in 2018: The First World War, 50 funny questions to discover it! Marie Le Cuziat : is an author, originally from ; she lives and works in in Ille-et-Vilaine and never goes very far from the sea, because the region, she says, inspires him ! As a child, she collected small notebooks because she loved writing and telling stories! Growing up, she supports autistic teenagers. It is by being alongside them during writing workshops that his desire to write takes on its full meaning! She then discovered the abundant world of children's literature and equipped herself with small notebooks to start writing again to tell stories.
She likes to describe moments of life and put into words precious childhood memories. She writes for children, but also for adults, both albums and novels. In 2020, she was the winner of the Émergence competition, organized by the Charter of Youth Authors and Illustrators. Hervé Le Goff: born in 1971 in Côtes d'Armor in Saint-Brieuc, he still lives and works in Brittany. After a Baccalaureate in Plastic Arts and three years at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, including two years in (29) and one in (14), he launched into children's publishing. In 2000, he received the Illustration Prize from the town of in Île-de-France and the 2000 Youth Album Prize from Brive-la-Gaillarde in Corrèze. Mathias Freeman was born in the suburbs in the early 1970s. His youth was happy. He divides his life between escapades in the fields and painting, because he has two passions: the study of nature and drawing. He makes small naturalist notebooks.
