A change from the original “Outlander” story
If Claire has not yet announced to Jamie that she remarried, believing him to be dead, he now knows that a relationship took place between her and Lord John during his absence. An announcement that he took very badly and which caused John Gray several bruises, but it was another announcement that caught our attention. William, Jamie’s hidden son, learned the identity of his biological father in a completely unexpected way. He was coming through the door when Lord John called out to Jamie, “Your son will be here soon,” to which Jamie replied, “Is William here?” “. Upset, the young boy destroyed the furniture when he learned that his father was not who he thought. But these circumstances were completely invented by the screenwriters. In the original Books written by Diana Gabaldon, William himself realizes that Jamie is his father when he sees him again after many years thanks to their resemblance. However, in the series, the duo sees each other again and again, which forced them to find another outcome. We will have to wait for the next episodes to know if the series will follow the plot of the books between the father and son, or if it will deviate again from the original version.
