The Majuscule les Mille et une pages bookstore received this afternoon of December 14, a writer, Junie Bleuet, who came to present her first work, “Rendez-vous au café des Anges”.
A love story between a German officer and a young girl torn between this love and the sad reality of the Second World War and everything we know about these romantic adventures between German soldiers and French women.
His novel thus gives a more realistic part of the love life between a German soldier in a world without hatred, because all the German fighters and all the French were not ultra-resistant or attacking people, but normal people.
It is therefore with full knowledge that Junie wrote this first novel, her father, Max Schiavon, an army officer, being a doctor of history specializing in the period of the 20th century.e century, including the wars of 1914-1918 and particularly that of 1940-1945.
Junie, for her part, is a teacher at Wassy college, which explains her presence in Joinville this Saturday afternoon, because she is from the Grand-Est, Metz in this case, and therefore teaches in Haute-Marne, region which she particularly appreciates.
Even if this book is her first official work, she has been writing short stories since the age of 12.
But writing is not her only passion, history is always present, because she creates women’s costumes on dresses from the Renaissance to the present day.
A few people came to meet this author to share with her this beautiful story of Love and war.
