Located under the arcades of the Place nationale, this initiative, supported by the municipality of Nègrepelisse (Tarn-et-Garonne), asserts itself as a true place of culture and exchange. Here, visitors have the opportunity not only to buy books, but also to enjoy a warm welcome in a friendly atmosphere.

“There was a lack in this sector of activity, and with Les Fées des Livres, it is also a dream come true for me. Becoming a librarian was a project I had in mind for a long time. Today, it is taking shape! » confides Manon, the creator of this space. Much more than a simple bookstore, this space aims to be a real crossroads of exchange, enriched by numerous activities, with exchange and sharing as the key words.

2,500 titles in stock

The store offers more than 2,500 titles: novels, science fiction, children's books and works by independent authors. If you do not find what you are looking for, you can also place an order.

In addition to books, the space is enriched with a vast selection of derivative products and artists' works on consignment. A section dedicated to esotericism, where tarot cards, lithotherapy and jewelry mix, holds a special place in the bookstore.

The welcome and well-being of customers are important to Manon, who has concocted an assortment of homemade pastries. Not to be missed: her delicious homemade Liège waffles, to be enjoyed with a bubble tea or a non-alcoholic cocktail, of which only she knows the secret recipe.

To discover “Les Fées des Livres”, come this Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., for a signing session with Flavie Fearn, independent author from the region, passionate about reading and writing since primary school. A great opportunity to immerse yourself in the literary world while savoring homemade sweets. So as not to miss anything, the store welcomes you from Tuesday to Saturday with hours adapted to everyone: Tuesday morning, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday during the day, and continuously on Friday and Saturday.
