Originally from Cardo, Elena and Carla Gottardi, aged 30 and 29 respectively, launched an innovative event system in September: an audio guestbook which takes the form of a handset with a capacity of 120 hours of message which is also attractive, particularly at weddings.
Usage is simple. “All you have to do is pick up the phone, then listen to the voice message left by the bride and groom and then leave your message and hang up”explains Elena Gottardi.

A successful first
Unprecedented in Corsica, the Call missed is in no danger of missing the call of the island's festive moments. Equipped with four devices, the company operates throughout Corsica with several formulas. The first, “the classic”, includes the telephone and two personalized posters. The second so-called “tailor-made” formula adapts to the theme of the event. The service includes the handset, decoration and posters designed and put up at the reception venue by the Gottardi sisters. For people on the Continent, sending is possible.
For their first mission, Elena and Carla Gottardi went to the Domaine de Murtoli, in Sartène, for a wedding on October 26. A happy start: “The experience went very well, the bride and groom appreciated the service, they were delighted and that is essential for us”.
The year 2025 promises to be busy. The first services begin in May and are sold out from June to the end of August.
Precisely, Laurence and Antony made an appointment with l'Appel missed for the renewal of their vows on August 9. “We are under the spell of this innovation. These messages are lasting memories where we can feel all kinds of emotions, where written words do not allow it”.
A family affair
Very close friends, Elena and Carla do nothing without each other. The Missed Call is above all two sisters who put their experience to the benefit of this activity. Within the company, the missions are distinct. Elena, tourist guide in Bastia, takes care of the marketing and event communication part. The youngest, Carla, who has training in the field of art and is director of the Joal gallery in Bastia and Paris, develops the creativity part.
His sister is his best partner: “We have the same vision of work. We subsequently wish to devote ourselves solely to the Missed Call”. For this first year, they are working with individuals but their objective is to collaborate with wedding planners. A project which will undoubtedly continue to attract more and more couples and organizers looking for authenticity and unique memories.
