Petite Taupe / Claire Frossard – Orianne Lallemand – Christel Desmaris : Little Mole is the main character of a series of storybooks which each time addresses a different theme such as friendship, mutual aid, but also winter or illness. The best known album is called “Little Mole, open your door to me!” » For the holidays, it is possible to opt for “Merry Christmas Little Mole”, in which our dear heroine will shelter her friends because of the snow. To be found at Auzou editions.

My little docs / Editions Milan : This time, no history, but documentaries aimed at children aged 1 to 3 years old. The collection is called “Mes tout p’tits docs” and it can be found at Editions Milan. It allows the child to discover the functioning of worlds that are familiar to them, such as the nursery, but also animals such as the snail or the cow, or even the highlights of the day such as meal or bedtime. The albums are cardboard, easy to handle and the repetitive side of the text really appeals to little ones. There is obviously one about the Christmas holidays! To be found at Milan editions.

Look it’s Christmas / Emiri Hayashi: The author offers a whole range of educational to touch for babies, from the age of 6 months. Among the titles are “Look, it’s Christmas” or “Walk in the snow” where the child can manipulate pull tabs to make animals appear, for example. The illustrations are magnificent and the books, which are also hardback, are mostly focused on nature and animals. Available from Nathan Editions.
