Véronique Gueneron, author of children's , now based in Castelsarrasin, has just published her latest work, “My Christmas booklet”.

The Leclerc cultural center in Castelsarrasin welcomed, on Wednesday November 20, the author Véronique Gueneron for the presentation of her latest work, “My Christmas booklet”. A warm event which attracted many curious people and lovers of great stories as the end-of-year holidays approached.

In this book full of magic and sweetness, Véronique invites readers to immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere of Christmas. Through anecdotes, creative ideas and touching stories, “My Christmas Booklet” is intended to be a true celebration of this unique time of the year.

Fun exchanges with young audiences

The author, visibly delighted by this exchange with her audience, took the time to chat with each visitor, enthusiastically sharing behind the scenes of her work. She did not fail to warmly thank the Leclerc cultural center team for their welcome. “Thank you for your support and kindness which makes these moments so precious,” she said.

The author led a workshop entitled My Letter to Santa Claus. This creative exchange allowed participants, young and old, to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of the holidays but also to share memories and sometimes very intimate emotions. It was a teenager who touched Véronique by confiding in her that she had cried a lot when she learned that Santa Claus did not exist. Véronique shared her own childhood memory: “I too felt immense sadness when I understood. But today, I know that the real magic of Christmas, the one that binds us all, goes to the beyond.”

“Share and experience a unique moment”

The author then invited everyone to reflect on the strength of this tradition which crosses generations: “The magic of Christmas is not just about receiving gifts. It's about creating, sharing and experiencing a moment unique with those we love, this is why, despite everything, we remain attached to this story. This workshop brought home the essential spirit of Christmas: a celebration that unites, warms hearts, and where the imagination of everyone, children and adults alike, plays a key role in perpetuating this unparalleled magic.

This significant event was an opportunity for visitors to discover a pen full of sensitivity and generosity but also to leave with a signed work, perfect for slipping under the tree. A great gift idea to celebrate the magic of Christmas.

“My Christmas booklet” is already available at the Le Saint-Louis tobacconist, in Castelsarrasin, and at the Le Plumier argent bookstore, in Beaumont-de-Lomagne.
